Hello,

when I'm trying to play rtp multicast network stream from .m3u playlist or .strm playlist (for example rtp://@233.10.47.90:1234 ) video is broken (incorrect codec?). the same stream is playing correctly when I play it from sap announcement. In VLC both methods work OK.

Is it possible to play these streams without using sap? (I want my own sorted playlists instead of alphabetically sorted sap list.)

I had some problems with SAP announcement, (VLC did not gave all the streams as SAP playlist). My Solution was to make playlist, (M3U with names addresses and ports for each channel in the MUX), wich gave me very nice result on other VLC clients.

Accordingly it may work for You as some kind of playlist in the XBMC, (I'll try)

it was problem in stable build. now in unstables is this problem fixed and streams are playing correctly from playlists.
