Showing static cursor after HDMI switching
#1
Hi,
So I've seen people who have posted about the cursor showing after their computer sleeping. Well mine never sleeps, BUT basically when I switch between HDMI inputs on my amp then switch back to XBMC, a white cursor sits in the middle of the screen. It won't move, and when I move the cursor, a second cursor is rendered (the XBMC one). I have tried setting HWCursor to false in m xorg.conf, and I have tried using unclutter. Unclutter makes the XBMC cursor disappear, but the damn white one is still there. The weird thing is that's not even my normal cursor icon.

Does anyone know how to disable that white cursor? It's smack in the middle of the screen and is incredibly annoying.

If it helps, I'm running Ubuntu 11.04, and I don't boot directly into XBMC but into Linux which auto-starts XBMC
