@ marck120: I am also a bit confused about your USB/CIR Talk
RC6 is the wireless Protocoll between the IR Device and your Remote.
So yes, your Remote should be an RC6.
You don't have to use USB Cables and Devices when you use CIR. Maybe you are a bit confused cause
Asrock and the Smart Remote misuse the internal USB Cable for theis CIR Device?
If you use an USB IR Device, your Board should be able to wakeUp the PC from S5 State, but not all Boards
can do this, so the Solution is not to use USB-IR, but the CIR-IR, which can always wake up your PC.
No one USB-IR is compatible with the CIR Port on your Mainboard. But the Remotes of those USB-IR Bundles
often speak RC6, which can also be used with an CIR Device, cause this also can speak RC6.
XBMC = MCE Remote = Compatible with Logitech Remote.
With an Harmony you have benefits that you can also use your TV, your Reciever and so on.
You push an Button "TV", Harmony powers on your TV, your Reciever, your HTPC and so on.
The MCE can only be used with your HTPC, you can't use it for your TV.
