xbmc 10.1 inconsistent audio volume 5.1 AC-3 on skip forward/back
#1
Hi,

I have an xbmc running 10.1. The audio output is decoded and downmixed stereo through SPDIF (connected directly through ALSA). When skipping back/forward through AC-3 streams using the skip commands, on one skip out of 4 or 5, the audio level increases significantly. Skipping forward or back again normally resets to the original lower volume setting. The log file shows no errors (with debugging off).

Has anyone seen this? Know if it is fixed in a later commit (I don't particularly want to move from a stable release as this is the only issue I'm seeing)?
