[MJC2010]

Hey everyone,

New to xbmc and got everything almost set up. One issue I am having is p,aging .mkv files 720 or higher. The files play but just stutter. I have a revo 3610 and I know it can work as Mac works fine outside xbmc.

Anyone have any direction on how to make it the default player for these types of files?

The Revo 3610 can play even 1080p just fine, but you have to enable hardware acceleration. Go to System settings, Video, Playback and enable "Allow hardware acceleration (DXVA2)". I have a Revo 3610 and XBMC works very well on it, though the more resource intensive skins can make it struggle a bit.
