Hi guys,
I posted this over at the eventghost forums as well, but haven't had a reply yet. Thought I'd post here too because there would be a few guys that run eventghost and MAY have come across this issue.

I have setup Eventghost to work with my snapstream firefly and USB-UIRT. Works perfectly. I have set the Volume Up repeats to VERY quick (0ms) because I have a direct cable into the remote port of the amplifier.
When only eventghost is running, the speed that the volume increases on the amplifier is awesome. However, when I have xbmc running and I press & hold Volume Up, the volume increases slower than normal. So the response time is slower.
Using DXVA, so the cpu usage is down around 10%.
This isn't a huge issue. I just wanted to know if there was anything I can do to tweak it to work at full speed while XBMC is running.
HTPC System
Intel Pentium Dual Core G840
Kingston 30G SSD V-Series
Corsair 2G 1333MHz DDR3
Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3
Gigabyte GT430
Let me know if you need anymore info.
Thanks.
