Hi! I have managed to suspend and resume my HTPC with IR Remote. The problem is that after suspend no video output is displayed and to get the video i have to reboot it. I have Lenovo Q180 HTPC which has ATI 6450 card. Is there any solution for this?

kill dpms or it could be your driver is not reloading properly.

As frodo is in beta state, there is no need for a monthly stable branch anymore - you can directly compile fernetmenta/master or if you have an ubuntu based system use wsnipex ppa.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

@tomtomme:
I forked his branch, as we are doing xvba development together. When i develop new features, I rebase upon him and send a PR. Most of the time he merges them, so afterwards i reset my tree back onto his - currently you get exactly the same, despite i am missing a rebase currently to catch up :-)
Btw. you should have seen this, by simply clicking on the commts.

The link is in my signature and it works, however thats are for Ubuntu/debian based stuff, you can easily adapt it for whatever your Distro is. see the
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/tree/master/docs for your platform specific or adapt to your own distro.

Look at your /etc/var/log/Xorg.0.log for clews, or try unloading and reloading the driver modules and restarting X
Resume problems are not unusual, your system has to have proper user permission and the user has to be added to correct groups. It could be something elseonly logs will tell, rumage in your logs.

Suspend and resume with fglrx is pure luck :-)
Don't tune too much - check /var/log/pm-suspend if you can ssh in after resume.
