good mornig at all,

I have problems playing some german radio stations like ANTENNE BAYERN or Radio7.
kodi 18.6 is running with libreelec on pi3 and ubuntu 18.04 on nuc.

after choosing the radio station kodi crahes. log says something about curl and it happens
with radio 2.4.2 and radio 3.0.0

Not related to curl but with an issue in kodi regarding the BusyDialog (2 instances at the same time): https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues/16756
Till the moment no kodi developer has yet come up with a proper solution to the issue.

Given Kodi has crashed and I have three logs, how do I upload them, so I can post their links here?



In Kodi 17.6 and Kodi 18.6 plays no problem

Just want to  say thanks to all involved in this Radio add-on on Kodi (Add-on:Radio (wiki)), it is excellent and it's great that people have kept this thread going since 2012!

Unlike others posting, I thankfully have no issues with radio channels playing.
However, i do have a query - it's a bit a long-winded but bear with me!.

I am using libreelec 9.2.1 on a raspberry pi - where the only add on that I want is this Radio add-on.
Why - well because i want to give it to an elderly person as an internet radio connected to her stereo versus 3.5mm jack.
I have picked nine radio stations and added them to favourites.
In the "Startup" options, I have set "perform on startup"  to "Play Radio" and "Startup Window" to "home window"
where for my Home options i have specified only favourites (audio/video/music/weather etc are all hidden).
So, once the Kodi (libreelec) starts up, she is met with a home screen consisting of 9 radio stations - she need only select one and it plays - so all good.
Ideally it would be nice if one of the radio stations could start playing upon boot up but don't think that's possible.

For most stations when you click on them, you remain in the home screen and the in top right corner you see a blue play arrow and the name of the station. That is perfect.:-)
But then some stations, when you click on them, it brings you into a NEW screen specifically for that one radio station. :-(
It is confusing for her to know to select the Square button in the bottom left of the screen to get back to the list of favourite radio stations on the home screen.
So, my question, how do i stop a radio station opening it's own window? (the station in question is LMFM in Ireland!)

I read the kodi dialogue on github.

Didn't understand it all, and not clear if the kodi team accept issue and will fix it.

If it is the same issue, my example is when using the Radio Music Addon.

Anyone experienced issues with saved stations lately? If i choose a station from my stations i want to play it sometimes plays the choosen station and sometimes it throws me an error. After i get an error shown all saved stations get deleted and the my_stations.json is empty after that. 🤔

Similar issue here: I had a custom "France Info" station, started to fail with "Radio error"; solved that by doing a search and saving the station found there.

I've been using this add-on for a long time and it's been great, but now I'm having problems with kodi version 18.6

I've updated my raspberry pi to latest LibreELEC(9.2.1) and kodi 18.6-Leia
This fresh install has the radio add-on but I can't get some stations to play. When I search for radioparadise it finds the station but playback results in an error.
That station has multiple different streams for different types of music and when I add them to the custom stations they result in playback errors too.

I used the kodi feature to post the debug log to http://ix.io/2iK9

Any ideas on what could cause this? I know the stream links are good. I'm currently listening to them on another pi/kodi with the radio add-on that hasn't been updated yet.
