i've just compiled eden beta 2 & now im experiencing major slowdowns when playing any media.(music in full screen with just the info up or the home screen with any media playing) debug says im going from 60 to 30fps, sometimes it will stay at 60fps for about 30 seconds then drop to 30 for a second & sometimes it's the other way round. everytime this happens the cpu load on all cores go's through the roof.

I have checked in ubuntu running & watching for cpu spikes in sysinfo & there is none. Everything else in xbmc is fine I've tried all vblank sync settings which make no difference.changed back to confluence. I haven't changed anything on the system (acer revo R3610) & before i updated was on a december nightly & it was running fine.

I'm not techy enough to give any appropriate answers, but GPU driver borked leading to lack of CPU decoding offload?
