As before: make snippets of these media files available to me (after checking that those snippets exhibit the same faulty behaviour on your system as the full files) and I am going to look into that. I need to reproduce issues on my development system under control of the debugger to get a better understanding of what's going on. It's as easy as that.
I made a few sample but, unfortunately, I can't reproduce the problem.
I believe the problem occurs when the DVD switches from the menu (with DTS audio) to the main movie (DTS-ES audio). If I go straight to the main movie, it plays fine.
Oh well, don't lose any sleep over it. As I said, it happens only with this particular DVD and I have the movie on Bluray anyway
And a final note: DolbyDigital EX shows as plain DolbyDigital in OSD and AVR. Is this normal?
