Hey Guys,

i have a Problem with the TV Scraper (the TVDB).

I have some Shows named like: "Criminal Minds: Team Red", "Ein Käfig voller Helden" and other

Now, the Folder ist named: "Criminal Minds Team Red" the ":" isn't working on Folder- or Filenames.

The Episodes are named to: "Criminal Minds Team Red.e01s01.avi"

The Scraper shows me the correct Showname and Banner in XBMC, but the Episodes are not shown, because the Scraper could not find them. In my opinion because the missing ":" I searchd thetvdb.org manually and find the correct Show and Episodes.

Same Problem is with the show "Ein Käfig voller Helden". Maybe the german umlauts the Problem?

I tried other variations from the wiki too. But nothing works.

Create a simpe nfo file with a link to the series at thetvdb, the umlaut is the problem indeed.

I try'd this out now, but won't work.

I created a File in the root of the TV Show, called tvshow.nfo with the content
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=71635

But no Data will found when i scan for new Shows

Works in my case. Just tested w two renamed episodes, folder name is YYY (so not even close to original show name), S01, s01e01.avi. Structure:

- YYY
-- tvshow.nfo (containing http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=71635, nothing else)
-- S01
--- s01e01.avi
--- s01e02.avi

Result:

If still no luck, your xbmc.log or your episode naming might help.

Ich sehe gerade, du kommst aus Berlin, dann können wir auch auf Deutsch schreiben, ist vllt etwas einfacher

Die Serie an sich erkennt er komischer weise, also ich habe in der Serienübersicht die richtigen Banner zu jeder Serie. Nur die einzelnen Folgen erkennt er nicht.

Bisher habe ich den Ordern genau so benannt wie die Serie heisst:

- Ein Käfig voller Helden
- tvshow.nfo
-- Staffel 3 (auch mit "Season 3" versucht)
--- ein Käfig voller Helden.s03e01.avi
--- ein Käfig voller Helden.s03e02.avi
--- ein Käfig voller Helden.s03e03.avi

eben so mein zweiter Test mit CM Red, ohne Season Ordner

- Criminal Minds Team Red
- tvshow.nfo (tvdb Name: "Criminal Minds: Team Red")
-- Criminal Minds Team Red.s01e01
-- Criminal Minds Team Red.s01e02

Auch da findet er nix.

Von der Struktur her also genau wie du. Dann sollte ich vllt auch mal versuchen, die Ordner/Files nicht mit dem original Namen zu versehen? Wobei ich mir die Funktionsweise des .nfo dann nicht erklären könnte. Das sollte ja alle anderen Daten "überschreiben".

Ich habe übrigens die aktuelle Beta2 von Eden drauf. Aber am Scraper sollte da ja nix geändert sein.

Ey hier wird nicht Deutsch geschrieben. Die anderen Leute wollen die Probleme und Lösungen auch verstehen.

Ich komme übrigens ursprünglich auch aus Leipzig - witzig.

Habe auch das gerade getestet, die Namensgebung sollte nicht das Problem sein, denke eher du hast am Scraper selbst eine Einstellung gewählt, die nicht passt.

Hab dir ein Bild angehängt mit meinen Einstellungen, damit hatte ich bislang noch keine Probleme. Wenn du Banner benutzen willst, lass den Punkt mit den Postern natürlich auf deaktivert, es geht mir eher um die beiden oberen Punkte.

Just tested what you've written but it your episode naming should not be the problem, i guess there's something in the scraper's setting that does cause your problems.

This is a picture of how i've set up the scraper and i never had problems. If you want to use banners, dont activate the poster settings. But check your settings for the both upper possibilities.

Nope, that's not the problem. I have the same settings in my scraper.
Which version you have installed? the beta 2 too?

Yesterday Beta 3 of Eden was released and it seems to be working fine now.
I've got no time to test it exactly yesterday, but i'll do today.

A quick look in XBMC, the Show "Ein Käfig..." was found and added, without a .nfo file

I'll give a complete report tomorrow.
