Hello all,

I am new to XBMC. I have knowledge of linux, but installed the LiveCD to have a system up and running without all the hassle. Everything works, but when i try to play Movie content the system just returns to the main screen. It does not matter what file format (DVD, MKV, AVI).

Does anyone know what is causing this problem?

You'll need to supply a log file, probably with debugging enabled, then upload it to a paste site (like pastebin.com) See http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Log_file for more details.

I already enabled logging. Now gettings these files to my laptop.
FTP and SFTP do not seem to respons. Does this need to be enabled somewhere?
