You are using the normal beta3 now right ?

I see the original post hasn't been updated in a while, is the link on page 1 working on RC2?

Thanks

Did you try the link in the first post where it says "Download the latest version here."
It works fine in the Windows Frodo RC2 version under WIndows 7.

Nice addon. As of now I seem to have two 'problems' :
* playlists stop after around 5 songs, have to manually restart it
* is there a way to use the radio feature?

I can imagine you need a log file in order to be able to say anything about it. What should I provide?

Thanks
Sorry for the late answer...

If everything is ok on Spotimc's side a now playing menu item should appear on the top menu. I would also check XBMC's audio settings and verify for some misconfiguration there. If you are able to play mp3's and wave files, you should also be able to hear music in Spotimc.

You can find the log files in the following location:

Mmm, does the playlist really stop, or perhaps it gets stuck on some unplayable track? I would need a log file to verify this.

Regarding the the readio feature, it's not implemented yet. Its planned for future releases, but my main concern now is to fix all major bugs and release a final stable as soon as possible. I'll resume new feature development when this happens.

Stay tuned!

Please tell us at least on which version of XBMC you are running, your OS, and (if applicable) the hardware you run it on. Are you using the latest version of SpotiMC (beta3) ?

v11 eden, windows 7, core i7 with radeon HD 7470m, 8g ram,
and got my spotimc from https://github.com/mazkolain/spotimc

Do not download the github as a zip, but download the beta 3 zip from https://github.com/mazkolain/spotimc/wiki/Downloads

The file you download should be called script.audio.spotimc-1.0-beta3.zip

Same here "script failed! - spotimc-master"

You do NOT want to press "Download this repository as a zip file" . If you do that it will not work.
Instead follow the first link in the first post in this thread, and download the beta3 zip there.

Got it, Thx!!

Hello,
from one day to the other this addon stopped working for me.
I've made a new installation of XBMC Frodo RC2 on the same computer (windows 7) and installed spotimc beta3 under https://github.com/mazkolain/spotimc/wiki/Downloads. I can login, but I don't see any album covers and when I click on any song, nothing happens. See the log file:

http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=24484

Does someone aso have this problem? could you please help me?

UPDATE: I've found the problem. I stopped the program SABnzbd, which was using the same port as spotimc (8080) and now it works. Where can I change the ports on the spotimc addon?
