I've searched around and tried a few different options such as editing dialogbuy.xml, videofullscreen.xml and adding the line <busydialogdelay>2000</busydialogdelay> (I attempted higher numbers here as well) in the advancedsettings.xml. Nothing seems to hide or disable this box.

I'm running a custom intro movie and it's distracting to have the buffering please wait box pop up for very briefly and disappear. The intro isn't even having issues playing it plays instantly, no need for this dialogue box.

Is there any way to disable this?

Running XBMC Eden 11.0 on Windows and I never see the buffering dialog box. I see the loading screen if a drive on my NAS has to spin up, but never buffering. Is the intro movie local or accessed via the network?

The file is local. It only displays for a brief moment, almost too fast to read but it's distracting because you definitely notice the dialogue box pop up and then disappear.

Surely there has to be a way to prevent that dialogue box from appearing through one of the xml files.
