Hi,
I recently installed XBMC 11.0 on my "HTPC", to replace Windows Media Center. Fully functionnal, no lag...
Except for one thing : the .wmv files, which poorly lags on reading.
Well, what's the configuration & symptoms ?
XBMC is installed on a "old" PC, my previous gamer PC reconverted :
Windows 7 Businness (MSDNAA), 32 bits, SP1, full updated
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @2.21 GHz
4x512 Mo DDR1 Corsair
1x HDD 80 Gb ATA
Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS (Driver : 8.17.12.9573, 9th Feb 2012)
Realtek AC'97 Audio (ALC850), driver 6.0.1.6305
Connected to my TV via a VGA cable (LG 22LK330, LCD TV in 22'), with a 1360x768 résolution (HDTV).
All the files (music & videos) are on my main desktop PC (Athlon 64 X2 5400+, 3 Gb DDR2, 750 Gb WDC Black - not a problem of performance), read via network & residential group.
Well, for all files (MP3, FLAC, MKV, FLV, MP4...), erverything is clear : sound & image are fine.
But, for WMV files, it's a trap : the video starts, but after 2 or 3 minutes, the video start lagging; first sound, next image begin to lag and sound disappear, and the fps is around 1 (ips). With a CPU charge at 100%, of course.
I thought it was the network (the 2 PC are connected via a network created with PLC, 200 mbps in theory), but the problem is the same from a external HDD.
Here's my xbmc log http://pastebin.com/gtUEXir8
And here's the mediainfo : http://pastebin.com/9tZq0jvG
Thanks for your help !
