Recently I installed brutefir and have totally fallen in love with the sound! Is there any chance audioengine could decode all my movie audio and presenting the resulting channels to jackd, so I can feed them to brutefir and output them als lpcm over hdmi into my receiver again?

Is that to weird or is there a chance?

This is a feature I would love as well though I only use xbmc on my pc.

I have been using a minidsp for room correction in the bass freq and it is a big improvement (I have measured it with Room EQ Wizard and calibrated mic) but I can't help but feel like the additional AD/DA stage is a compromise I don't really need and brutefir would fix this for sure.
