Linux AudioEngine testers - Linux only
Hi there.

I got this managed and installed the 290.10 driver.

But still no HD-Audio

Here is the newest XBMC.log (with debug-log enabled):

http://pastebin.com/diZphdu2

the current aplay -l:

Code:
david@david-XBMC:~$ aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
david@david-XBMC:~$

and the aplay -L:

Code:
david@david-XBMC:~$ aplay -L
null
Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture)
pulse
    PulseAudio Sound Server
hdmi:CARD=NVidia,DEV=0
    HDA NVidia, HDMI 0
    HDMI Audio Output
dmix:CARD=NVidia,DEV=3
    HDA NVidia, HDMI 0
    Direct sample mixing device
dsnoop:CARD=NVidia,DEV=3
    HDA NVidia, HDMI 0
    Direct sample snooping device
hw:CARD=NVidia,DEV=3
    HDA NVidia, HDMI 0
Direct hardware device without any conversions
plughw:CARD=NVidia,DEV=3
    HDA NVidia, HDMI 0
Hardware device with all software conversions
david@david-XBMC:~$

All the other Audio-Files (DTS, DD, Stereo, Menu Sound) works fine. But still got the noise (very similiar to the "white noise") while playing hd-audio content.

Maybe it's important...my XBMC is plugged via hdmi to a Rotel RSP 1570 pre-amp and then to a JVC D-ILA X3 beamer. If I play a file with hd-audio content, the pre-amp displays "multichannel" an not DTS HDMA or anything else.

Thank you for helping

Greetings
David
