I've been using MySql to keep my watched status/resume/etc between my Dharma XBMCLive clients. This has been working fine. I've put together my 1st Eden client (XBMCBuntu). It is connected to the MySQL database (it updated to myvideos60/mymusic18) and the videos show up.
The watched status doesn't appear on the Eden client.
I tried deleting the myvideos60/mymusic18 databases and having it rerun the conversion. The watched status remained unset.
I tried exporting the library to a single file. When I try to import it doesn't see the videodb.xml file (yes, I triple checked permissions). Regardless, the xml export file doesn't appear to have a <watched> tag anyway.
I then tried exporting into the individual folders. I run an update but the watched status doesn't appear. There is no <watched> tag in the nfo.
I then tried removing the source and re-adding it. Still no watched flags.
So what is the magic combination to get this to work?
BTW - I manually marked a video as watched, then rebooted. After reboot it still showed as watched which indicates there are no problems with the client updating the database.
