Hello,
I have my HTPC always on (also used as a NAS) and have a question about the screensaver(s) when the screen is off (via the "Put display to sleep when idle" option, or also maybe via the Windows options, I set both).
I set the screensaver to the one displaying randoms images from my HDD.
After 60min, my screen goes to sleep (no more signal => OK), but I'm wondering if the screensavers still reads the images on the HDD.
Because I think this will reduce the HDD's life : it would never go to idle mode (NB: I turn off the spin down feature of the HDD since it may reduce the HDD life and increase a lot the respond time when it's spin down)
Thanks in advance!
