I am having issues with arte.tv since yesterday, as it stopped working.
I am under Ubuntu 15.10, and running the ubuntu packages of Kodi (15.1 for now).

Here is a copy of the error. Any idea ?

Pur3 Is working on an New (Patched Version, if there will be some code left of the Original Plugin, since Arte Changed so Much)
Will be added in lost&Found Repo

Mayby there is a simpler way for you
Just open an text file
Write
http://stream1.gotv.at:1935/live/gotvliv...ylist.m3u8
in it. The Save the File as gottv.strm
Open the File With Kodi. And You have your Stream

are there some people working on a solution for the broken arte addon for xbmc? I am thinking about buying an appletv4, if there will be no arte add-on anymore for atv2. I would be sad if I would have to.... :-(

In the official Kodi.tv repo is a working arte+7 addon Version number 0.5.1
I used it several minutes ago ,it s working .
