Your original trac ticket got closed with a status of 'Fixed' so the developers thought it was solved. Looking at the code changes, they added a new variable that determines if progress should be shown or not which makes sense but my coding skill is not good enough to tell why that new logic doesn't work.

I think it would be best to create a new ticket because of the age of the old one. Any maybe don't wait 5 years to mention the fix doesn't work next time :p
