Hi guys

a friend of mine has jumped on the atv bandwagon and managed to get hold of a second hand atv1.
When it arrived he noticed that it was booting directly into xbmc and so he has no option of going back to the default apple tv menu that is on unjailbroken devices..

Does anyone know how to undo his so that he can access the default menu again?
Or how he can restore the atv1 back to default settings?

You can restore an ATV back to the default settings using the OpenElec installer.

From memory you will need to create the installer from within either MacOS or Linux.
