Linux Availability of stable 12.04

Question
Hi guys,

I'm in the process of upgrading my boxes & now looking to my HTPC (presently still running the last LTS - 10.04).

Any idea when the new XBMCbuntu will be available/released for 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin?
I think I'll go with the distro this time around, rather than rebuilding it from scratch.

Please advise

- J

I would very much like to get rid of this bug, and prefer the latest Ubuntu - Pangolin.
Am I looking at the right place?
If so, and I was to install this, would I get the future XBMC updates (whenever they come), or would I be stuck with a manual installation all over again?

How do I back up the mapped directories (so I would not have to go through that all over again for every single place I want to add)?
Videos should be enough; no music and pictures are on a single drive.

Thank you!

As long as there are builds for your distribution just make shure that you have the right ppa acitve and then just

Code:
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

Just backup your userdata folder

Hi John,
I am not sure how to interpret this part of your response.
I mean, there is an ISO on the link and that ISO claims to be Pangolin-based, so it should get the Ubuntu updates just fine. Does it?
What about the XBMC updates? Is the PPA correctly set for that (out of the 'box' in this ISO)? If not, which PPA(s) should I be adding?

Thank you!
