Sound problem via HDMI
#1
Okay so I have an HTPC using an ATI Radeon HD 6570. It's plugged in a Panasonic TC-P46S30 through HDMI. OS is Win7.

So everything was working perfect until I updated my ATI driver. The sound is actually working, but the issue is if I power off and then on the TV(it's a plasma TV so I hate leaving it on Pause), sound no longer works. Image is there but sound is gone. Only solution I found so far was unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable, which works, but fucks up the resolution sent by the computer.

I've tried messing around with Catalyst and Windows itself. What happens if when I power the TV back-on, the computer won't detect an audio device. If I unplug and replug, it's detected and it works fine. I know I could just revert the old drivers but I'd like to know if there's any other solution out there.
