hi there.

I have unbuntu precise and xbmc eden. I compiled from the git stable source. I am trying to get the wiimote to work. It worked before I upgrade from Unbuntu 10.0.4 and the old XBMC. now I get: Socket read error (handshake), and a bunch of other errors when pairing.
can somebody point me in the right direction to solve this?

Currently I get this from xbmc-wiiremote:

Socket read error (handshake)
IR enable error
Error setting WiiRemote report mode?tEXtComment
Report send error (led)
Error setting WiiRemote LED statede?tEXtComment
Sucessfully connected a WiiRemote
Socket read error (handshake)


hcitool scan finds the mac no problem. I don't know what is broken here...

UPDATE:

I went ahead and compiled BLUEZ 4.60 from lucid, and it works. GO figure. They broke something....Again, I don't know what.

I'll reply again because I just finished brewing a new ale and after about 6 or so I feel pretty good . Eden is awesome. I love the new features, and it was worth the pain. The wife was doubting my skills, I showed her! If someone would like to take apart the new bluez and figure out where the wii support with the xbmc-event-wiirmote is broken I wil be more then happy to help.
