Linux Logout active user before suspend
#1
I have created a profile for each user of my HTPC system to enable each user to be able to track which videos they have watched without affecting the other users of the system.

What I have not been able to configure is how to force XBMC to logout the active profile as the system is being suspended to ensure the next user of the system is greeted with the login screen instead of accidentally start watching videos under a different users profile.

I am running XBMCBuntu and figure the best approach would be to add a curl command to the WEB command interface of XBMC to issue a logout command just prior to the system suspend.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

It would be nice to have this behaviour integrated into a future version of XBMC as users with Kid profiles won't want their child to fire up XBMC and be loaded in the unrestricted profile.
I found the resume information in the XBMC WIKI. Adding it here incase anyone else searches on this topic in the future.
