for movies and music it is nice but for tvshows i can not use it. I think we need here a way to but the komplett TVShow in a smart playlist. My girls will kill me when i say "here, you can put all your shows in a playlist BUT u have all episodes in one view"
I need here a way to but the shows in a simple playlist and not in a basic .m3u. We can life with one list for movies and one for tvshows per person.
Example:
Wife will have Lost, Supernatural and so on in a playlist.
The big daughter will have Lost, AdventureTime, ICarly and other kids stuff in it.
The little daughter will have only Anime and Kids shows.
I hope it is to understand, my english is a little bit outdated
Are you currently using http://kodi.wiki/view/Smart_playlists ? Somewhat off topic but have you looked at: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:LazyTV

thanks for the addon. You wrote that you are using *.m3u files. In the video section standard playlists are xsp. Is there a way to use the available playlists ?
I do not use playlists and when I was testing video playlists it saved it as *.m3u. I assume you are referring to http://kodi.wiki/view/Smart_playlists being *.xsp?
My concern with http://kodi.wiki/view/Smart_playlists is the number of filters available. What rule(s) should be applied when adding an item to a smart playlist? Something as simple as the snippet below or more complicated?
Code:
<rule field="title" operator="contains">
<value>Scrubs</value>
</rule>

I now see that you don't mention music videos in your addon description. If you find the time, maybe you could look into music videos as well.
Thanks a lot for your work!
Are music videos displayed in the video library? Do you have a sample playlist; and is it *.m3u or *.xsp?
I should probably start a new thread for this discussion.
