Hi all,
I just joined the XBMC crowd and am loving it so far, but one issue has been causing me some trouble. I recently scraped my TV shows, and everything worked for the most part, except for some multi-part episodes. For example, one of the files was Heroes S04E01, which was aired as a two-part episode, and was one long episode on the DVD. So the way I had it on my hard drive was:
Heroes.S04E01.Orientation-Jump Push Fall.avi
Heroes.S04E02.Ink.avi
Heroes.S04E03.Acceptance.avi
And so on. But the TVDB listing has Orientation as Episode 1, Jump Push Fall as Episode 2, Ink as Episode 3, etc. As a short-term fix I "skipped" Episode 2 and edited the rest of the files on my hard drive, so it's:
Heroes.S04E01.Orientation.avi
Heroes.S04E03.Ink.avi
That way the scraping is correct. Only thing is now I'm "missing" Episode 2 from my library. So, my question is, is there a way to manually edit the episode number to how I want in XBMC, keeping Ink as Episode 2, but still retrieving the right episode information (3) from TVDB? There are a few cases like this, I just used this as an example.
I did see the wiki page on multi-part episodes, but as a beginner, stuff like nfo files and regexp just goes over my head.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question or if it didn't make much sense; it was easier to explain in my head than it was to write it out.
Thanks in advance for your help
