Yeh your right about the tweaking, but its part of the fun and always worth it in the end.
I was worried you would point me in the direction of ssh. While that is a doddle for me, it is a monumental task for my gf and for some reason (which is never any fault of her own) xbmc only tends to lock up when i'm not around. So a hard reboot is essential. Might hold fire on the NUC until I can come up with a reboot solution outside of xbmc.
Your remote mapping would be brilliant though thanks as I will use them on my revo build.
Fingers crossed 3.0.3 solves these issues.
