i'm using 1.1 version of xbox and default fan. fan noise really bothers me when i listen to music files. is it okay with 10 % setting? it is to be feared that to lower the fan speed breaks xbox.

i need an 'experienced' answer.  :kickass:

wring forum, moving to support. yes you might damage your xbox, suggest you set it to be temperature controlled instead
...and/or even replace your fan with a better quality one (and larger 8mm), see xbox-scene.com tutorials
