xbox 360 controller analog support

i remember the problem with analog support was that if you map any commoand to an axis that it would rapidy press that command multiple
times, well if you add the scrolltime=" value"
tag in a control like: <axis limit="number" id="number">command</axis>
you would end up with something like:
<axis limit="number" id="number" scrolltime="value">command</axis>

with this you could create time gaps between every analog movement preventing rapid key presses.
meaning the analog movement is valid for the amount of scrolltime given

Analog support for what? Can you please elaborate for the benefit of people like me who can't grasp the subject from the context above? Thanks.

Looks like the keymap for joysticks (like for the thumb sticks on game controllers that dont send on/off but rather how far they got moved -> analog)

I mean analog support for the xbox 360 controlers
right now the only way to navigate is with the d pad

I tried setting up my retrousb SNES controller but up, down, left and right are for some reason treated as axis inputs rather than buttons. The navigation is unusable because it is too fast.

+1 from me
