How to submit a bug?
#1
I followed the FAQs and ended up at http://trac.xbmc.org/. There was no submit a bug option displayed that I saw. I figured you need an account, but there's no way I can see to create one. Clicking on help/guide shows a redirect page that eventually, or when you click on the link, says the page is not found.

On the main trac page it mentions to login with your forum username and password

If possible try to recreate the bug using one of the latest nightly or monthly builds because a lot has been changed fixed since Eden release

I didn't realize the forums and bug tracker were connected. And I didn't have a forum account at the time, though obviously I've solved that problem Smile

It would be nice if the tracker had a direct create account option.

Thanks; that's what I needed to proceed.

Should I use the regular installer or the pdb? Or both?

regular .exe (pdb can be used by us for debugging)

The Monthly (snapshots) are considered more stable. Nighties are in constant change specially at the start of the month
