...Aaaaargh....
I don't think the scrapers are updating over the 2.0.0rc1. Can anyone confirm?
From what I read on the wiki, "2.0.0" should be treated as newer than "2.0.0rc1", but I'm suspecting now that's not the case.
If it definitely isn't happening, I'll push an emergency 2.0.1 version to (hopefully) force an update.
(It updates fine over 1.1.1).

Hi,
I had a similar problem with a skin update.
I have to erase the ./addons/package/skin.name files/directory
I'm not sure that's it. I'm at work atm.

Advantages to treating them as movies:
They can be grouped into sets.
They can be linked to a relevant TV show.
Advantages to treating them as TV shows:
Any specials/Ops/EDs, etc. can be listed directly alongside the OVA.
The "episode" plot can potentially come from thetvdb.org (and therefore likely be better than the one from anidb.net)
It's swings and roundabouts, whichever you prefer.
The method you describe would be the right way to add them as TV shows certainly.
TV Show sets are something I would love to have, I've already been contemplating methods to integrate them into the scraper and the mapping lists should they ever become reality. There's a feature request for it somewhere in the Feature Suggestions forum.

You're using the original AniDB scraper, not the Mod. I wouldn't rely on that finding anything too recent.

I seem to be getting constantly banned from AniDb when scanning a series of 1-3 episode OVA's, I'm scanning them as TV shows and have tried setting the force delay in the addon config to 125 and 250, but it still happens. Any thoughts? I can still use FileBot to rename from AniDb, but that doesn't do me any good for getting them into the XBMC library.
