I am looking to build essentially a network juke box. I am not too worried about streaming or playing movies from my XBMC PC at the moment. This may or may not come later.

Primarily I want to create a system that is very user friendly that is trimmed down to only the features that we need. The reason I want to do this is that most of the users are not going to be very technical so simpler is better.

The features that I would like to be able to do is:

Rip to FLAC files
Utilize CDDB or something like it to automatically tag the song information
Playback the FLAC files either individually, by album, by artist, by playlist or by genre
Create Playlists
Classify music genre

And I would like this to be done through a simple user interface using a browser.

Is it possible to configure XBMC to perform only those functions and disable everything else so it is not seen by the users of the system?
