Using MPC-HC as external player..occasional 'Green Screen' on playback
#1
Im using XBMC Eden with latest build of MPC-HC as external player. When i launch a video, at times instead of video i get a solid 'green screen' but audio continues to play.

i cannot seem to replicate the problem consistently and/or find what im doing to make it go green. If i quit MPC-HC and wait for XBMC to come back up, I can sometimes select the movie again and the video will work the 2nd or 3rd attempt. no other changes, it just starts working.

a fix EVERYTIME, is to stop play in MPC-HC, hit Ctrl-O(open file), the filename is already there since its the last file i opened, i hit OK, and the video plays perfectly. It seems as if only when XBMC launches the file that i sometimes get a green screen. If I manually open the file through MPC-HC directly I NEVER have a problem.

any ideas?

Have you enable "Use fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen" in XBMC system/system/video output?
>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!
