Hello! I have been streaming my videos from my PC to my Sony TV which supports the DLNA protocol for quite a time by using PS3 Media Server. However it's written in Java and I hate java and have uninstalled it from my system. Thus I'm searching for a new media streamer. I came accross XBMC which seems very promising but I can't seem to manage to stream my videos to my to TV. Steps I have taken:
1) I have added a couple of directories containing movies in XBMC ( Videos -> Files -> Add Videos )
2) I have enabled in XBMC the option "Share video and music libraries through uPnP" in XBMC ( System -> Settings -> Network )
3) I have connected my Sony TV to the home network with a cable ( as i always do when i want to stream from the ps3 media server )
But when I go to my Sony TV "Videos" menu I don't see any option for the XBMC server. Am I missing anything ?
Thanks in advance for any help!
