I'd like XBMC to record all the files in a designated source path which it doesn't find a match for.
Still add them to the database and set a "NOMATCH" or "INVALID" or some kind of flag to the data.
Then have a menu / submenu somewhere out of the way of dummy users for people to be able to go in and pull a listing of files which have no match.
Ideally it would show the full path, similar / same to the files view, we could rename the files from this UI or alt tab on our PC's / use our laptops to rename the files and then perform a re-scan.
I am well aware of the addon which does this, that seems awkward to have to install, as well as requiring scripts to be installed / updated. I'm also aware, I could just go through the XBMC log and look for "NO NFO" hits after a scan with debug enabled.
My suggestion is something I think would be more useful to your mid-skilled users, making the package feel more all-encompassing / complete for media management.
