Win Frodo Beta 1 and MySQL

Does the Frodo Beta 1 change the structure in the MySQL Database? I'd like to install it on my workstation in my home office but that one is the lone system that updates the MySQL database for my other XBMC (OpenELEC) machines throughout my house. I don't want to screw up the other machines for watching movies.

Yes. It will make a copy and upgrade the database to the newer version. The other clients will still be able to read from the existing database but it will no longer be updated from the box running Frodo.
The XBMC team, plug-in devs, skinners, etc. do this for us for FREE in their spare time because they want to. Think about that for a second before you start bitching...

Thanks.. Guess I'll wait until Frodo is closer to being released and OpenELEC Version 3 is closer as well...

OpenELEC 3.0 Beta 2 was released today which is based on Frodo. Just FYI. Wink
