files are stored on a local hard drive.
an additional question: i have to manually configure xbmc to use hdmi audio output after every program start. it can't remember and store the last used output. maybe it is troubled by the inactive hdmi output if the AVR is powered off. is there an option to advise XBMC to always use a specific audio output, e.g. by a textfile?
