I would like to understand how to write a script that would expand the file selection menu with a new item, and is then called when the user selects the new menu item - with the name of the file for which this was done.

In my case, i would like to be able to just select a file, open the menu, and instead of eg: deleting it or ny of the other pre-existing options, select "print 6x4" or "print letter", eg: to easily get pictures printed.

If there is any script that does add to the file selection options menu, would like to get a pointer.
