Currently is the pivos-xbmc the better version, the aspect-ratio-problem is probably the most unpleasing fault. (you can solve this by editing attributes, but this settings are resettet after restart)

Here is simple workaround:
Install this on the box:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...iptmanager

Create a simple script - on lets say /data/local named aspect_fix.sh
Put this into to the script:
chmod 777 /sys/class/video/axis

do chmod 777 aspect_fix.sh (it becomes executable)

Find your script through ScriptManager app - add tags boot and script to it.

No everytime the box boots, the script manager will run that script as root, and you will not have to do it manually
