No problem. You're welcome. You don't have to do anything except put the .xml file in your userdata folder. XBMC looks for this automatically. The rules you put in the advancedsettings.xml will supersede all other settings. Just to be sure that XBMC is accepting your settings, you can exe XBMC, then exit. After that, open your log file. You should find some lines that clearly state that the xml has been read. You will also see an error right after that if XBMC had any problem with the file. Let me know how it works. Another easy way to tell is to change the value of the algorithmdirtyregions to 1 instead of 3. When I do this the UI in XBMC goes nutty. Good luck. Please let me know.

Sorry i never reported back. Added your settings and got it working ok.
Unfortunately it still losing connection to the network.
However, yesterday... i did the new update shown on here and everything is perfect !
