Geniatech ATV1200 and XBMC hardware decoding
Do you use a USB connected harddisk? Which filesystem do you use? NTFS?

I learned that for the Raspberry Pi the filesystem of the USB connected HD makes a big difference because NTFS stresses the CPU much more than ext3 or ext4.

I assume that this is valid for the more powerfull Android devices as the ATV1200 as well in general.

Question is if this might explain issues with the video playback...

I am using NTFS.
