Linux Bluetooth A2DP Playback in XBMC
#1
Hi!

i already got A2DP-play working on my desktop with bluez, blueman and pulseaudio. I only have to pair my nexus 7 with my htpc and the music will automaticaly played on it.

But how can I get this running on XBMC? Normally I boot into a XBMC session and i would have the same behavior like on the desktop, just pairing and sound will automatically be played on the htpc!

Unfortunality I don´t know much about the XBMC sound system, so where do I have to start?

Hi!
Did you ever get this working? I'm not quite clear on your post, are you sending music from your nexus 7 to your htpc? I just posted a request(?) for something similar:

I'll have to check out that bluez, blueman and pulseaudio stuff. I'm sure there should be a way to get that talking to xbmc.

Kodi uses pulseaudio by default. Just set up a2dp streaming and Kodi will use it via pulse.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
