I have searched far and low but to no avail I have not found an answer. I have been trying to play a 1080p .mkv movie and every single time it hits the :38 second mark it exits the player to the menu. When I skip past that part it freezes at yet another point in the movie not to mention at random intervals it appears blocky/choppy. I have very little reason to believe that the file is corrupted because I played it on my desktop and it played completely fine. I tried playing the file in VLC media player and the same exact thing happened.
The computer I am trying to play this file on via XBMC is a Dell Inspiron 5520 with 6gb of ram, an Intel Core i5-3210M CPU with intel HD graphics 4000. The other day I tried played another mkv file and I encountered the same exact problem.
I have tried install codec packs and checking for video card updates on my computer and I have yet to find a solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
