DTS passthrough problems
#1
I have problems with DTS passthrough with high bitrate movies and DTS-ES (6.1). Video plays perfectly but my receiver seems to lose audio signal from time to time (~half second gap).

I've tried overclocking my Pi to 900 MHz but there is no visible improvement. This happens with both latest RCs of OpenELEC. I'm watching video over NFS. I haven't watched many DTS movies on Pi but I don't experience any problems with Dolby.

Any advice how to fix this?

Does DTS-ES pass through or not? If rpi is having to do audio processing at all it is unlike;y to have enough grunt.

I think yes, it can pass it through: DTS-ES is just 6.1 DTS (as far as I know). My receiver displays DTS-ES as audio input source.
