OS X Audio output switching issue with Frodo
#1
I recently upgraded my XBMC on my iMac (27" Late 2011) running Mountain Lion (10.8.2) to version 12 Frodo and am having a problem with the audio. I frequently alternate between my inbuilt speakers and my studio monitors connected via my Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 Audio Interface.

With the previous version, I used to switch between the two audio outputs using the Mac system preferences, and XBMC would use whichever device was selected by the OS. With version 12, this is not the case. Irrespective of whichever device is selected in the OS, I still need to go to the XBMC settings and change the output manually each time I want to switch. Is there any way I can have it automatically select the one the OS is using?
