hi

i'm having this really annoying problem, the movie is playing in the backround (i can actually see it in the backround when i'm in the menu)

but when i try actually watch the movie, and enter to fullscreen mode - al i can see is a black screen ( ic can still hear audio)

I now it isn't a rare problem - but still couldn't find a solution.

DESPERATE for help.

My problem is even more serious - I cannot use XBMC in fullscreen at all. Window mode - everything works ok. Switching to fullscreen - black screen.
Tried final Frodo build, nightly builds, updated DirectX, ATI drivers - same result.

I was using previous versions up to Eden before - no such issue ever.

Any advice appreciated.

Somewhere in this forum I read that the latest AMD drivers has some bugs. Use an older version.

Actually, I solved it by uninstalling and making a clean install of Frodo release.
Now everything is OK.

Try adjusting xbmc video settings like refresh, hardware acceleration, 'use a full screen window rather than a true fullscreen' etc. If nothing works uninstall xbmc completely and re-install again.
