Win Flagging images changed storage location @Frodo?
#1
Hi guys,

I updated my XBMC from Pre-Frodo to Frodo last week ago and I'm still confused about the flagging logos (1080, DTS or H.264) storage location.

It seems it was changed between XBMC 11 and 12... In XBMC 11 and Pre-Frodo it was located \skin.confluence\media but this storage location must have moved. Does anyone know more about this? I would like to use customize images like I did in previous versions before but Frodo always using the standard icons.

Those are compressed into the textures file. Download the original textures from https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/tree/master...ence/media, replace the ones you want to replace and run texturepacker on them.

Thank you very much toiva. Your post was very helpful.

I downloaded the TexturePacker from this post:

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...#pid728142

and created my personal textures.xbt file.

More infos: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBM...kin_Themes

Worked for me.

But I still don't get why XBMC doesn't just pick up the images in the /media-folder like in the previous versions.

Because textures file has a higher priority, if the textures.xbt contains the same images those get loaded, even if you have your own uncompressed images in media directory.

You should be able to remove flagging directory from the textures file, keep the flagging images in media/flagging directory and it should pick them.
