What you see is fine. I begin to think that there maybe some incompatibilites of my plugin with XBMC 11. But I have no way to test it under XBMC 11 right now. Can you update to XBMC 12?

In the coming days i try XBMC 12. I'll give you a feedback

Thank you

What version of XBMC are you using? I suggest you to use XBMC 12.

BTW, a log file is mandatory to understand your problems.

This is great, thank you for development. I however have an issue that it seems to be buffering a lot (sometimes, sometimes it works great)

Code:
T:2738928448 WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(video)::Get - asked for new data packet, with nothing available
T:2703891264 WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(audio)::Get - asked for new data packet, with nothing available

I tried to test the network and I think I have enough bandwidth (I can download a test 1GB file in parallel with no buffering, it just randomly happens from time to time). Is it rai.tv? Does anyone have the same issue?

EDIT: the debug log is also full of "invalid timestamps" but I doubt it's related?
Code:
17:41:52 T:2712283968   DEBUG: ffmpeg[A1AA2B40]: [mpegts] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=8628417990, dts=8628421590, size=6068

The plugin does not handle streaming directly. XBMC does. From my experience I can say that if it buffers a lot, it means you don't have enough bandwidth.

The plugin works beautifully and efficiently, bravo! Only thing is that it won't playback on my ipad or atv2, but my android phone and windows pc it works. Speculating that the rai plugin needs some .lib to play on Apple devices?

this is strange, I definitely have enough bandwidth (20Mb) and I only have this problem with live rai streams. Is there anything you can think I could do to help debug the issue?

I don't own such devices so I can't test it myself. Anyway a log file could be useful to understand what's going on.

In the snippet of the log you posted it seems you run out of data, hence the buffering. This is usually a problem of bandwidth because the data can't get fast enough to you to sustain the live streaming. It can also be a problem on rai side: there are too many connections and they can't keep up with everybody. But I haven't yet had such an experience. As a double check you could install rai.tv app on an android device and see if you have the same behaviour.

In any case, even if you won't have problems using the android app, I will not be able to solve your problem because it is XBMC that handle the streaming, not this plugin.

Xbox is not a platform supported by XBMC 12. Therefore no.

Hi nightflyer. Here's my log for the rai. http://pastebin.com/fgikZRRv

Somehow RaiMovie and Rai Quatrro worked for 20 seconds and never again worked! The rest won't work and it creates the ERROR: OpenDemuxStream - Error creating demuxer

Grazie for alll your help!
